A shape to breathe by.
A patch with a raised texture you trace with your thumb. The shape paces your breath: silently, in a meeting, in the dark, without an app or a single ingredient.
There is a whole industry selling stickers that promise things stickers cannot do.
We looked hard at the drug-free patch category before building anything. What we found is the reason KEEL is designed the way it is.
The going rate for a printed sticker
The category leader charges ninety-nine dollars for thirty adhesive patches, about $3.30 each, on the strength of a mechanism it has never demonstrated in a randomised trial.
Products with any study at all
And of those studies: none randomised, all funded by the distributor, all reliant on self-report. Some appear in journals that do not meaningfully peer review. Pain researchers at Université de Sherbrooke went through them and said so publicly.
What the FTC actually requires
To say a product reduces stress or improves sleep, US law asks for competent and reliable scientific evidence, which for health benefits generally means randomised controlled trials. Testimonials do not count. Neither does "results not typical".
We decided to sell you the instruction instead of the miracle.
A KEEL patch does nothing to your nervous system. It tells you what to do, and you do it. That is a claim we can prove with a ruler, which means we will never need to defend it with a lawyer, and it turns out to be the more useful product anyway.
Read exactly what we do and don't claimEdge length is breath length.
Every KEEL patch has one raised ridge, and the geometry of that ridge is the protocol. There is nothing to learn and nothing to remember.
- A long edge means a long phase. Your thumb travels further, so your breath lasts longer.
- A corner or a raised dot means hold. It is a full stop you can feel.
- A taper means exhale, and it slows your thumb down whether you meant to or not.
- A closed loop means keep going. You do not have to decide when to stop.
Four shapes, four protocols. After a week you can identify which patch is on your wrist by touch alone, in the dark, without looking. That is the point of using geometry instead of a printed label.
Four shapes.
Pick the moment.
Thirty patches per pack, one a day. Most people start with SLOW, then add NIGHT once they notice the difference a long exhale makes at bedtime.

The everyday one. A ring you trace with your thumb: up is in, down is out.

Four edges, four counts each. The one pilots and athletes already know.

A teardrop with a long taper. The slow way out is the whole idea.

Two peaks, one long trough. For the moments that arrive without warning.
Run the exercise now, with no patch at all.
We are not precious about this. The breathing is the part that works, and it is free. The patch just means you will actually remember to do it when your hands are shaking and your phone is in your bag.
This on-screen version needs your eyes and your attention. The patch needs neither, which is the whole reason it exists.
Three steps. No app.
Stick it where your thumb reaches
Clean, dry skin on the inner wrist or the back of the hand. It stays put through handwashing, typing and a full workday. One patch lasts the day.
Find the raised dot
Every shape has a starting mark you can feel without looking. That is where your thumb begins, every time.
Trace, and let your breath follow
Do not try to breathe correctly. Just move your thumb at the pace the shape allows, and the breath sorts itself out. Two minutes is a full session.
How this stacks up against the alternatives
Including the ways in which the alternatives are better. A breathing app is more instructive than we are; a supplement asks less of you. Here is the whole picture.

We didn't invent slow breathing. We just made it hard to forget.
Paced breathing has been studied since the 1990s. A 2025 study in Scientific Reports found that six-second-in, six-second-out breathing lowered self-reported arousal, slowed heart rate, raised HRV markers and reduced frontal beta power under anticipatory threat.
That research is about the breathing, not about our patch. We will not blur that line, and we have put every paper, including the ones that found nothing, on one page you can read in ten minutes.

Plain-language summaries with links to the primary papers. No cherry-picking. Where a study failed to find an effect, we say so and link it anyway.
Our own trial is funded
A randomised, sham-controlled study is in planning: KEEL versus an identical patch with a flat, untraceable surface. The question is whether the shape makes people actually do the exercise. We will publish the result either way.
What we will never say
The words treat, cure, heal, and the names of medical conditions, do not appear on our packaging or our site. Not as caution, but as policy.
The sentences we are not allowed to write
Most brands keep this document internal. Ours is on the homepage, because the fact that we hold this line is the main reason to trust anything else we say.

Reviews, unedited
Including the lukewarm ones. A patch that makes you do breathing exercises is not for everyone, and pretending otherwise would undo the entire point of this brand.
"I've had the 4-7-8 thing explained to me by three different therapists and never once did it when I actually needed it. Something about having it on my wrist changed that. I'm as surprised as anyone."
"Bought it because the website didn't insult my intelligence. Stayed because I use it before every client call. The fact that they tell you it's just a sticker with a shape on it is exactly why I believed them."
"Honest review: it works, but only because it nags me. If you already have a breathing practice you don't need this. I didn't, and I do now. Docking a star because the adhesive gave up on day two at the gym."
You already teach this. Your clients just don't do it.
Every therapist we have spoken to says the same thing: paced breathing is taught in session and forgotten under stress, exactly when it is needed. KEEL is a homework-compliance tool with a shape instead of a worksheet.

In the wild

The ones you're actually thinking
Yes. A well-made adhesive patch with a precisely shaped raised ridge, and no ingredients whatsoever. We say this on the box because the alternative, implying it does something to your body, would be a claim we cannot support. What you are buying is a physical cue that makes a free, evidence-backed exercise happen more often than it otherwise would.
You could, and if that works for you, do that instead and keep your money. In practice a phone reminder arrives at a time you chose in the past, and gets dismissed. A patch is on your wrist at the moment you notice your jaw is clenched, requires no screen, and cannot be swiped away. It is also silent, which matters more than people expect. You can use it mid-meeting without anyone noticing.
We are not permitted to answer that, and we would not want to. Naming a medical condition is what turns a wellness product into a drug claim, and we hold that line strictly. What we can tell you is that slow paced breathing has a substantial published literature, that we have listed all of it on our evidence page, and that our patch is designed to guide that exercise. What you conclude from the research is yours to decide, and if you are dealing with something difficult, please talk to a clinician rather than a website.
The adhesive is medical-grade acrylic, latex-free, and panel-tested for irritation. That said, daily wear on the same patch of skin is the one genuine risk with any adhesive product, so we ask you to rotate sites. Alternate wrists, or move to the back of the hand. If you get redness, stop, and message us for a refund. No photos required.
Do not take our word for it. That would be the same mistake. Read the Truth in Advertising write-up on the category, read the Université de Sherbrooke pain researchers' assessment, and read our evidence page. Then notice which company publishes the studies that did not support it. We are not asking for faith; we are asking you to check.
Send it back within 30 days, opened, half-used, whatever. Full refund including the shipping you paid. We would rather lose the sale than have someone keep a drawer full of patches they resent.
There is nothing in this patch.
That's the point.
$34 for thirty. $27 a month if you subscribe. Thirty days to change your mind, opened or not.
Occasional letters about breathing, evidence, and what we got wrong. No growth hacking.
